Hey there, Chosen One!
Are you stuck on a story dungeon, feeling like your heroes just can’t win, no matter how much you upgrade them? Don’t sweat it! This is a common “growing pain” for many players. This guide offers a universal breakthrough plan to get you unstuck. We’ll cover resources, progression, and tactics to quickly boost your battle power!
I. Stuck? Self-Check Your Battle Power’s “Weak Spots”!
Before you complain, take a quick look to pinpoint the problem:
Are your resources keeping up?
- Enough General Souls? Your hero’s level cap is tied to your player level. General Souls are key for hero leveling, so make sure your main heroes are maxed out! If you’re short, sweep Travel and Bright Trial. With the current Travel bonus event, it’s a great time to stock up on General Souls!
- Enough Silver? Upgrading hero equipment requires a lot of Silver. Story dungeons and Daily Quests are the main sources. Don’t underestimate Rank upgrades; they unlock game-changing passive skills!
Are your core heroes properly leveled?
- Are your main heroes focused? Don’t spread your resources thin! Focus your General Souls, Silver, and equipment materials on your strongest 5 main heroes to maximize their effectiveness.
- S-tier hero priority: If you have S-tier heroes, prioritize them; they have huge potential. Also, check out the Cumulative Recharge event to get rare S-tier Hero’s Tokens and quickly promote your main heroes!
Are your equipment and Relics set up correctly?
- Is all equipment worn? Heroes must wear all 6 pieces of equipment to upgrade their Rank and unlock powerful passives. Get equipment materials by sweeping story dungeons and farming Mysterious Place.
- Do you have Relic Sets? Relics don’t just give stats; full sets have powerful effects. World Tree Sapling is crucial for getting Relics, so remember to participate in Daily Quests and game events to get them! For starters, consider straightforward sets like Swift Thunder Set (Speed), Titan Rage Set (Damage Bonus), and Steel Barrier Set (Damage Reduction).
II. Tactical Adjustments: The Key to Victory!
Sometimes, it’s not about lacking power, but lacking the right strategy.
Elemental Advantage:
- “Call of Fate” features six elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Dark, and Light, with a rock-paper-scissors dynamic (Water beats Fire, Fire beats Wind, Wind beats Earth, Earth beats Water; Light and Dark beat each other). Attacking an elementally weak target increases damage by 20%. If you’re stuck, check the enemy’s main element and switch to heroes with an elemental advantage!
Team Composition and Positioning:
- Basic setup: We recommend a balanced team of 2 front-line tanks, 2 damage dealers, and 1 Pastor.
- Positioning tips: Place tanks in the front to draw aggro, while damage dealers safely attack from the back. Let your main heroes take some hits to build Rage faster and unleash their ultimate abilities sooner. Carefully observe enemy positioning to adjust your key heroes for max damage or to avoid incoming attacks.
- Rage Mechanic: Heroes gain 40 Rage from basic attacks and 20 Rage from taking damage. Once Rage reaches 100, they’ll use their ultimate ability on their next turn.
A Common Problem: My Warriors Can’t Beat Assassins?
- This is frequent! While Warriors are tough, they can struggle against highly evasive Assassins who target backlines, especially if they lack crowd control or specific damage.
- Solutions:
- Control is King: Add heroes with stun or other crowd control skills to your team to limit the Assassin’s agility.
- Precision Strikes: Use heroes with “guaranteed hit” or high accuracy stats, or Assassins/Mages who can directly attack backline enemies.
- Protect Your Backline: Use heroes who provide shields, share damage, or adjust your positioning. Block the Assassin’s path with a tougher hero.
III. Advanced Progression: Unlocking Hidden Power!
When basic progression hits a wall, it’s time to explore deeper ways to power up.
- Rank Upgrades: Don’t forget that Rank upgrades unlock a second passive skill, which can fundamentally change a hero’s effectiveness!
- Divine Power Activation: Consume Tower Journal (obtained from Secret Expedition) to activate and upgrade divine power nodes, significantly boosting hero stats.
- Elemental Lineage: Consume Elemental Crystals (obtained from Mysterious Place, Hero Dispatch) to increase your Elemental Lineage level, enhancing the stats of corresponding elemental heroes.
- Insight Training: After joining a Guild, consume Guild Badges to increase your Insight Training level, boosting hero stats. The higher your Guild’s level, the higher your training cap. Participate in Guild Donations and Suppress Nightmares to earn more Guild Badges.
- Bright Rank Advancement: Consume Bright Rank Fragments (obtained from Tower Store, monthly quests) to upgrade your Bright Rank. This boosts the stats of all your heroes, making it a highly cost-effective path to power!
