Here is Prudence.
Today, I'll introduce our new game, Magical Artist.
In Riverport, a fading old city, craftsmanship and everyday life once flourished. From corner studios to old toy shops and candy-wrapper artists at alleyways, the whole city was a living work of art.
But as industrial and commercial modernization swept in, old skills and memories were quickly forgotten. Objects carrying emotions and history were discarded, neglected, and labeled as "outdated."
The city's soul is vanishing.
In Magical Artist, you are Milo Rune, a street boy who grew up with his younger brother Bean. Selling street food to survive, you navigate Downtown—the city's busiest yet most overlooked district.
Milo possesses a unique gift: he can hear the emotions and memories embedded in old objects. The fear of a porcelain shard, the laughter in an old painting, the loneliness of a broken doll—he hears them all. At first, he thinks it's just his imagination.
Everything changes when a drunkard harasses their stall. On the verge of trouble, an elderly artist named Elias rescues them. Recognizing Milo's special perception, Elias invites him to his workshop, beginning a remarkable journey.
Under Elias's guidance, Milo learns ancient crafts:
- Restoring worn paper paintings with delicate brushwork
- Recreating lost puppets from colored clay and rags
- Understanding an object's value through "emotion" rather than "price"
Milo discovers these skills aren't just for survival—they're magic that makes the city breathe again. With each completed work and restored workshop, parts of the city regain their glow—streets light up, children play again, and people begin to smile and talk.
Inspired, Milo opens a "Mobile Workshop" in Downtown, traveling the streets to fulfill orders and grant wishes. 渐渐地,he gathers like-minded artisans:
- Sera, a mysterious painter who awakens forgotten memories
- Tock, an inventor who creates wonders from discarded materials
- Madam Bell, a former theater designer who infuses emotions into mechanical dolls
They gather around Milo like puzzle pieces, each continuing a craft tradition and telling part of the city's story.
Milo transforms from a street vendor into a Magical Artist with a mission.
In the game, you will:
- Search the city for lost techniques and materials
- Manage your workshop, fulfill orders, and transform creations
- Meet, collaborate with, and create alongside other "Sensitives"
- Collect memory fragments and rebuild forgotten spaces
- Increase your reputation through creation to revitalize Riverport
Ultimate Goal: Awaken the cultural soul of the entire city.
