Glory Frontline Combat Power Guide!

Hey New Commanders!

Are you eager to make a splash in Ære Frontline and become a dominant "War King" on the battlefield? Don't sweat it! This Power-Up Fast Guide will teach you, step-by-step, how to quickly boost your strength from scratch, ensuring you feel confident in every firefight

I. Your Gear Is Your Lifeline!

Imagine facing waves of enemies. Your powerful weapons and sturdy armor are your most reliable companions!

  • Gear Categories: Your gear splits into Armor (increases HP limit) and Weapons (for attacking enemies).
  • Weapon Range & Damage: Weapons come in long, mid, and close ranges. Remember, each weapon excels at a specific distance! If you attack outside its optimal range, damage decreases, and the gun sound will be unusual, warning you that your shot might be off!
  • Shooting Technique: Don't just hold down the fire button mindlessly! While you can long-press for continuous fire, your weapon will overheat quickly. Once overheated, you can only single-tap to shoot, greatly reducing your firepower! You'll need to wait for it to cool down before resuming continuous fire. So, learning to control your firing rhythm is key to becoming a pro!
  • Gear Upgrades: Every piece of your gear has a main body and attachments. Upgrading the level of both the main body and its attachments significantly boosts your gear's stats and power!
    • Pro Tip: An attachment's max level is limited by its main body's level! The higher the main body's level, the higher the max level your attachments can reach. So, prioritizing main body upgrades before enhancing attachments is the way to go!
    • Body Stats: A weapon's optimal range is a fixed stat. However, stats like power, fire rate, magazine capacity, overheat threshold (how long you can fire before overheating), and overheat cooldown (recovery speed after overheating) can all be improved through development!
    • Upgrade Costs: Firearm/armor main body upgrades require Gold + corresponding firearm fragments; firearm/armor attachment upgrades require Gold + corresponding type of firearm attachment fragments.
    • Important Note: Firearm attachments are tied to firearm types! If you prefer long-range attacks, prioritize developing your long-range weapons and their attachments!

II. The Arsenal: Your Supply Depot!

Imagine the despair of running out of Grenades and Medical Kits! Don't worry, the Arsenal is your solid backup!

  • Crafting & Carrying: In the Arsenal, you can craft and carry throwable weapons and medical items. You can carry one type of each, ready for use in combat!
  • Crafting Rules: Crafting items costs time and materials. Be aware that you can only craft one type of item at a time, so plan your production wisely!
  • Material Acquisition: Crafting materials are obtained from Lone Hero stages, daily missions, and the Shop. Visit these places often to stock up on your materials!

III. Beyond Limits: Training System for Agility!

Good gear isn't enough; you also need a strong physique and sharp reflexes!

  • Training Programs: You can focus your training on three abilities: [Stamina], [Agility], and [Concentration].
    • Improve Stamina: Lets you switch weapons faster.
    • Improve Agility: Reduces your reload time.
    • Improve Concentration: Increases your movement speed and speed when changing defensive directions, making you more nimble on the battlefield!
  • Training Costs & Acceleration: Training consumes time and Stamina. If you can't wait, you can spend Diamonds to speed up the process and get upgrades faster!
  • Training Levels & Decay: After training, you'll gain Training Points. When your Training Points meet the level requirement, your training level increases, granting corresponding stat bonuses! However, your Training Points for each category will decrease hourly. If your Training Points fall below what's needed for your current level, your training level will drop, so make sure to keep training!

IV. Stuck? No Problem: Replay Stages, Farm Resources!

If you hit a wall on a particular stage, don't get discouraged!

  • Farm Resources: Players who are stuck can repeatedly challenge earlier stages to acquire resources. These resources can then be used to upgrade your weapons and overall combat power, making you stronger and helping you eventually clear that tough stage!

Now that you've learned these power-up secrets, do you feel a step closer to becoming a "War King"? Go put them into practice in the game! What's your favorite weapon type, and which training ability will you prioritize upgrading? Let us know in the comments below! May your battles be glorious, Commander!
