From the Depths of the Ocean Storm: A جلوري فرونت لاين "Lone Hero" Guide
Hey everyone, I'm Ocean Storm. I'm excited to share some of my experiences in جلوري فرونت لاين's "Lone Hero" mode. As a player who loves these kinds of games, I jumped right into جلوري فرونت لاين the moment it launched, and I've found it both challenging and fun.
The main reason I wrote this guide is to share some of the techniques and experiences I've discovered. I hope it helps those who, like me, love this game but might still be in the early stages of exploring it. Through this in-depth tutorial, I aim to break down every detail of "Lone Hero" from scratch, allowing everyone to quickly grasp the core mechanics and truly enjoy the supreme pleasure of strategizing and conquering your enemies.
This guide is a summary of my personal experience. If anything is inaccurate or not comprehensive enough, I sincerely welcome everyone to discuss and correct it with me.
So, are you ready to embrace the challenge and embark on this elite warrior's journey with me?
I. Pre-Battle Preparation: Winning from the Start
When we first enter the battlefield, the interface might seem empty. At this point, don't rush into combat. Your primary task is to explore the main pages, such as "Beginner's Help," "Shop," and "Base." Taking the time to thoroughly browse these areas will not only grant you a large number of achievement rewards, but, more importantly, it will familiarize you with the entire game's interface layout. This understanding of your surroundings will lay a solid foundation for subsequent battles.
After claiming your achievement rewards, you'll receive your first batch of resources. I recommend prioritizing your Base to upgrade your Training Uniform and various armor pieces. While every item can increase HP, different parts offer varying bonuses. For instance, the "Training Uniform" and "Helmet" in your armor provide a more substantial HP increase. Make sure to fully upgrade all defensive gear you can at this stage. This will give you a higher error tolerance in subsequent battles, preventing failure due to insufficient HP or misoperations.
Some friends might ask: Why not upgrade firearms first? This is because weapon part resources are relatively scarce in the early game and need to be acquired by clearing stages. So, our next step is to dive into "Lone Hero" mode and start clearing levels.
II. Entering the Battlefield: Difficulty Selection and Position Switching
Click "Lone Hero" and enter the first stage of the first map. You'll see two difficulty options: "Warrior" and "Hero."
-
Warrior: This is the normal difficulty, which is lower and suitable for new players to familiarize themselves with stages and controls.
-
Hero: This difficulty is higher. The Heroic difficulty of the first stage is roughly equivalent to the third stage of normal difficulty. Therefore, it's not recommended for new players to challenge it immediately.
After selecting "Warrior Difficulty" and entering the battlefield, you'll arrive at the Position interface. Your default weapon is the rifle. The weapon switching logic is cyclical: from rifle, switching right leads to the SMG, then right again to the pistol; conversely, from rifle, switching left leads to the pistol, then left again to the SMG.
Next is a core operation: Position switching.
Simply put, swiping right switches clockwise, and swiping left switches counter-clockwise. Let's use the initial "Position 1" as the center point:
-
From Position 1, swiping right leads to "Position 2," and swiping left leads to "Position 3."
-
When an enemy is at Position 3, you just need to swipe left directly from Position 1.
-
When an enemy is at Position 2, if you are at Position 3, you only need to swipe left once to reach it.
As you progress through stages, the number of Positions will increase to five or even more. At this point, choosing the shortest path for switching is crucial. For example, with five Positions, if you are at Position 2 and an enemy appears at Position 5, switching right (clockwise) would require passing through Positions 3 and 4, a total of three steps; however, switching left (counter-clockwise) would only require passing through Position 1, just two steps. Therefore, you should decisively switch left to save valuable reaction time.
III. Weapon Breakdown and Sound Cues
Choosing the right firearm for the right situation is key to combat efficiency.
-
Rifle (Sniper Rifle): For long-range engagements. When enemies first appear, until the "Entering Range" prompt sounds, this is the best time to use your rifle for precise strikes.
-
SMG: For medium-range combat. When you hear the "Enemy Approaching" prompt, you should immediately switch to your SMG for suppressing fire.
-
Pistol: For close-range combat. When you hear the rapid "Breaking Through Soon" alert, you must use your pistol to eliminate the threat in the shortest possible time.
Note: When enemies are close or about to break through, you can still shoot with a rifle, but the damage will be greatly reduced, and accuracy will decrease, severely impacting kill efficiency. Therefore, correct weapon switching is crucial.
Corresponding to weapon selection is judging enemy distance via sound cues:
-
Slow "Doo... Doo... Doo..." sound: Enemies have just entered range, use your rifle.
-
Significantly faster, higher-pitched "Doo-doo-doo" sound: Enemies are approaching, use your SMG.
-
Extremely rapid alarm sound: Enemies are about to break through. You must immediately use your pistol. Each breakthrough will inflict significant damage on you, so quick reaction is essential.
IV. Core Combat Experience
-
Prioritize Eliminating at Long Range: Try to eliminate enemies while they are still far away. Once enemies get close, their movement speed becomes very fast, making it easy for players to panic and become overwhelmed.
-
Mixed Operation of Tapping and Auto-fire: Continuous firing (holding down) in the game has a cooldown and cannot be overused. Therefore, we need to master a mixed operation mode.
-
Basic Principle: The enemy's spawning rhythm goes from slow to fast, giving us ample reaction time in the early stages. At this point, you should primarily tap-fire. This not only helps maintain a steady mindset but also allows for better rhythm control. You can use 3-5 round bursts, and when an enemy wave is almost eliminated, finish it off with a short auto-fire burst.
-
Auto-fire Timing: Auto-fire (holding down to fire) lasts for approximately several seconds but then enters a cooldown of about 15 seconds. Therefore, it's a valuable burst tool.
-
Early-to-Mid Game: Use cautiously, primarily for quickly clearing enemies that are about to become a threat.
-
Mid-to-Late Game: Enemy spawning speed will become faster and faster. If "continuous firing" is available at this time, you must prioritize using it for the most efficient enemy elimination, buying yourself reaction space.
-
-
-
Situational Awareness and Priority Targets:
-
Clear the Lane: When you notice enemies approaching a specific Position, switch to your SMG to eliminate them as quickly as possible. Before switching to the next Position, make sure to clear all enemies in the current lane to prevent being overwhelmed by too many enemies later on.
-
Prioritize Closest Enemies: Always prioritize dealing with the closest threats. For example, an "enemy approaching" is a greater threat than an "enemy just appeared."
-
Decisive Reloading: When firing, try to quickly tap the screen continuously with one finger. After eliminating enemies, immediately use another finger or swipe up to reload your magazine, avoiding wasting precious time on reloading during critical moments.
-
V. Enemy Characteristics and Counter-Strategies
-
Infantry: Slow speed, small numbers. Usually one-shot kills in the early game, low threat level.
-
Cavalry: Extremely fast, relatively numerous. Must be shot quickly; in later stages, auto-fire is essential to ensure complete elimination.
-
Artillery: Long-range firepower, small numbers, won't get close. Maintain distance and eliminate directly with a rifle.
-
Special Forces: Their core characteristic is random movement between Positions, making them very agile.
-
Handling Principle: When Special Forces are approaching or about to break through, they must be prioritized. If there are many, prioritize them as well. If there are few and they are still far, you can clear other more threatening enemies first to avoid being overwhelmed.
-
Targeting Technique: In later stages, Special Forces will switch Positions very frequently. You need to constantly swipe the screen to get their latest location. When unsure of their Position, do not fire blindly. Instead, listen carefully to the Position announcements, confirm their location, and then strike precisely.
-
Summary:
Familiarity with controls and map layout is the foundation for your transformation from recruit to veteran. However, mastering the use of various firearms, reasonably upgrading attributes, and being able to remain calm and react quickly and flexibly in critical moments are the essential conditions for becoming an elite warrior.
Alright, that's all for my sharing. I hope it helps everyone!
